Khonsu, the ancient Egyptian god of the moon, is a traveller on a nightly journey around the world, shining a soft light on what lies in shadow. connecting us all.
Khonsu – this blog – is about shining a soft light on people and places that are less seen, misunderstood or misrepresented. It’s about seeing beyond the tourist trek and media hype, through stories told by people who are closest to them – stories about their lives, history, tradition, ambition, innovation, leadership, culture and experiences.
To these powerful stories, I bring small insights from living and working in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, North and South America and South Asia.
My hope is that Khonsu will offer a broader understanding of all that connects us, and all our uniqueness.
We start the journey in One Diverse Africa …
